Remove Press-on Nails

Items needed:

  • Bowl (any)
  • Warm water
  • Oil (any, I use Olive Oil)
  • Dish soap
Instructions:
  • Soak hands in a bowl with a mixture of warm water, oil, and dish soap (add as much oil or dish soap as you want)
  • Wait approximately 10 mins
  • Start with one press-on nail and start lifting the edge near the cuticle
  • STOP if nails are hard to lift and continue soaking nails in the bowl mixture
  • Once successfully removed by lifting the edge, continue lifting remaining nails

PROTIP: Use one of the removed nails to lift the rest of the remaining nails

OPTIONAL: Apply a strengthener nail polish (I use Essie: Hard to Resist Advanced) to promote healthy nails and cuticle oil (Essie: Apricot Cuticle Oil), if any, to moisturize your nails and fingers.

For maximum longevity and reuse, give the back of your press-on nails a good clean. Personally, I like to use a nail drill to banish any lingering nail glue residue. After that, rinse your press-ons with warm water to wash away any dust. Now, here's the fun part—hopefully, you kept the packaging! Pop your press-on nails back into their original packaging and they're all set for your next nail adventure. Ready to rock those nails again whenever you're in the mood! 💅🏼
